It’s started back in the 80’s, with an NYU electronics class final exam and copious pencil eraser shavings. Doriane Elliott was feverishly erasing and wiping away her detritus right onto the knees of the student in the next chair. That student , Dave Hart, looked over with a raised eyebrow and a “hello?” gesture. And that was the beginning of years of friendship and collaboration.
Dave Hart is an award winning composer, sound designer and mixer. Early in his career, he composed and produced music for hundreds of national TV spots for brands like American Express, Miller Beer, Delta Airlines and Johnson & Johnson. More recently Dave has been composing, sound designing and mixing audio dramas for Audible and other platforms. Doriane Elliott has been casting and coaching actors for over 20 years, the bulk of which were as a casting director at voiceover powerhouse Phantom Audio in NYC. She has developed strong relationships with major talent agencies and their actors, and as a voice coach has helped her students sign with agencies like Buchwald, A3, Atlas and KPM. Doriane’s background in music as a singer and producer gives her a unique skill working with actors regarding voice and pitch control, breathing and mic technique.
